What You Will Receive From Us - The CD Catering Contract
In the tender document there are the following sections:

Conditions of Tender

Standard Conditions of Contract
The contract has been tried and proved effective in numerous tendering projects. The legal departments of many of our Clients, including one large law firm, have all signed it off. It is a comprehensive contract with a strong catering bias.

However, if you have a legal Department it may be advisable to pass it to them just to ensure that any legal requirements specific to your company are included. It is simple to add on any additional clauses.

Catering Services, Policies and Procedures
This section includes the detail that you will require to ensure that your Contractor works to your catering requirements. This section includes performance requirements such as a KPI review proforma, portion sizes, a sample tariff, menu (which can alter as you wish), accounting requirements and the catering qualifications required from the contractor’s staff.

Service Requirements
When completed this will lay out your precise catering requirements. Opening hours, vending (if required) and hospitality are all included.

Cleaning Specification
This includes both daily and periodic cleaning requirements. A deep clean specification is also included.

The Form of Tender
Schedules are included; all to be filled in by the Contractor. A shopping basket for you to compare prices from the tenderers is included which you should retain for comparisons after the start of the Contract.

Help Line
As part of the CD Tender Programme you will receive 30 minutes of help line advice free of charge. You can ask for help from the start of the programme until after the Contractor has commenced operations. The help line is open during normal working hours – 0900 to 17.30 hours Monday to Friday.
